Young inventor, Ahmed Mohamed, intended to impress a teacher with a homemade alarm clock, but found himself detained, interrogated, handcuffed, arrested, booked, and fingerprinted when a teacher suspected he had built a bomb.
Linda Moreno, Of Counsel to the Constitutional Law Center for Muslims in America and Associate at Doughty Street International, advised Ahmed and his family on the legal protections and remedies available to the 14 year-old high school student.
Criminal charges against Ahmed have been dropped, and he has received an unprecedented outpouring of international support, including an invitation to the White House and an offer from Mark Zuckerberg to visit Facebook headquarters
